Suite for accordion,
opus 171 er  tradisjonell klassisk musikk for standarbass i hovedsakelig moll-tonearter. Det er fire varierte satser og en fargerik komposisjon. 1. sats er en Overture, 2. sats Vals caprice, 3. sats Romanse og 4.sats Finale. Det spenner fra en fint harmonisert 3. sats (Romanse) til virtuositet på siste sats Finale. 1. satsen, overture er litt inspirert av Italiensk opera-sang. Dette er originalmusikk for trekkspill.   Lykke til!

Karl Henning Lundby
er født i Løten i 1962.  Han begynte å spille trekkspill hos Ragnvald Weddegjerdet da han var 8 år.  Anders Grøthe var læreren hans fra han var 13 til han var 20 år.  Han var også læreren hans da han var elev på musikklinjen på Rud Videregående skole.  I 1980 van han eldste solistklasse på Landsfestivalen for trekkspill i Trondheim.  Karl Henning deltok også ved verdensmesterskapet for trekkspill i Hamburg (1982) og i Linz (1983).  Karl Henning studerte trekkspill på Gnessin Instituttet i Moskva fra 1983 til 1985 med Vitalij Montján som lærer.  Han tok også timer hos Fridrich Lips.  Fra 2008-2018 har han studert komposisjon med Bjørn Bolstad Skjelbred.
Karl Henning Lundby har fått bestillingsverk og har komponert for flere instrumenter og ensembler.

Suite for accordion,
opus 171 is traditional classical music for standard bass in mainly minor keys. There are four varied movements and a colorful composition. The 1st movement is an Overture, the 2nd movement is a Vals caprice, the 3rd movement is a Romance and the 4th movement is a Finale. It ranges from a finely harmonized 3rd movement (Romance) to the virtuosity of the last movement, the Finale. The 1st movement, the overture, is slightly inspired by Italian opera singing. Karl Henning Lundby
was born near Hamar in 1962.  He started playing accordion at the age of 8 and has studied with Ragnvald Weddegjerdet and Anders Grøthe.  In 1980 he won the oldest soloist class at the National Accordion Festival in Trondheim.  He attended the world championships for accordion both in 1982 (Hamburg) and in 1983 (Linz).  He studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow from 1983 to 1985with Vitalij Montján and Fridrich Lips.  He has since 2008-2018 studied composition in Oslo with Bjørn Bolstad Skjelbred.
